We are so thrilled to announce that our shampoo and conditioner bars are BACK by popular demand! (And for good reason, if you ask us!) You may have heard people talking about using shampoo and conditioner bars as opposed to traditional liquid products, but is it worth the hype?
Here are our top seven reasons why making the switch to solid shampoo and conditioner may be the best beauty decision you ever made:
1. They’re eco-friendly
Using solid shampoos as opposed to liquid removes the need for excessive packaging and plastic bottles. As the bar can be easily contained in a small recyclable box, there is no need for plastic. The minimal packaging means less waste entering our landfills.
2. No water filler
Liquid shampoo is made up of 75% - 95% water. That means the majority of what you are paying for is the plastic bottle, a small amount of harmful detergent, and, of course, water. What’s the benefit of that? We couldn’t find one, either. This level of excessive water usage creates a larger carbon footprint with no added benefit for you or your hair. Ditch the water waste and get your money’s worth for your shampoo.

Create more room in your duffle bag or suitcase by swapping your bulky plastic bottles with a small, easy-to-store solid shampoo bar. Bonus OMG! shampoo and conditioner bars benefit
Our shampoo and conditioner bars don't contain soap! Due to their shape and texture, it can be easy to confuse the OMG! shampoo and conditioner bars with soap bars. However, our bars are soap-free. Why is this so important? Soaps are typically very alkaline with a pH of 9 or higher. Our bars have a ph of 6, which is much more neutral and balanced.
While other shampoo bars might not lather well, OMG!’s shampoo bars are designed differently providing a gentle and fun foam while you wash.
